Job Description:
Develop data structures and data algorithmic approaches to efficiently retrieve, store, and verify historical information using computer languages such as C++, Perl, XML, OneTick and SQL. SQL skills (such as MS SQL and PostGred SQL) with database design and maintenance experience, C+
and OOP design, Shell Scripting, Object Oriented Perl, and Java in order to effectively provide historical and real-time data to Senior Research staff members.
Required Skills:
3
years of experience collecting, maintaining, and distributing data from the following areas: CDS, CDX, Cash Treasuries, Fixed Income, Emerging Markets and Global cash equities.
Candidate must have at least a Bachelor?s Degree, preference given to a Master?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, related field or foreign equivalent, & 3 yrs exp. in a technical capacity within a financial services company. Experience must also involve programming and managing real-time data vendor data from Thompson Reuters, S&P, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
