Operations Administration Specialist

An investment advisor in Connecticut is actively seeking a dynamic and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Operations Administration Specialist.
In this role, the Operations Administration Specialist will manage reporting requirements across multiple CLO's, including review of daily P&L and control diagnostics.
Responsibilities The Operations Administration Specialist will:
Work with CLO Middle Office provider and Trustee to help maintain/review daily cash, position, and accrual reconciliations associated with the portfolio Review bank debt trade settlement packages Work directly with front office on new issue transactions, as well as ad hoc requests relating to P&L, exposure, and trade activity inquiries regarding the portfolio Partner with tax accounting, reporting and treasury/financing teams on daily support requirements Maintain fund transactions and inventory in a vendor supported portfolio accounting system Participate in a broad range of operational projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 2
years' experience in the financial services industry with a primary focus on bank debt Strong knowledge of (and keen interest in) common financial products such as equities, bonds and derivatives Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Highly organized Strong interpersonal skills Desired skills General accounting knowledge CFA (or candidacy) Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Administration Communication Coordinating Derivatives Diagnostic Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
