As the Senior Analyst, Accounting and Finanical Reporting, you'll oversee the company's internal financial reporting and consolidation process and prepare summary schedules for the intercompany transactions between parent company and subsidiaries.

What you'll do on a typical day:
Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and proceduresSupport the Company's internal financial reporting process, including the preparation of consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, including the P&L, balance sheet and statement of cash flowsManage cashflow movement / rollforward schedules, and the consolidated cashflow and free cash flow statementsSupport the Company's external financial reporting process including Form 10-K and 10-QResponsible for ensuring that all elimination entries are properly documented and recordedResponsible for optimizing financial reporting systems (including Oracle, HFM and other financial systems)Support metadata management and rule modifications within Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including user testing for proposed system changesGovernance oversight for the company's financial chart of accountsPartner with finance and accounting peers across the organization to develop a best-in-class financial analytics environmentAssist with the internal and external stakeholder review of the Company's financial reporting deliverablesSupport the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditorsComplete and maintain process documentation to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for areas of responsibilityAssist on special projects requiring analytical skills and knowledge of systems / processes such as acquisitions and divestituresWhat you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent related work or military experience2
years of related experienceIt'd be great if you also have:
CPA, or equivalent qualificationStrong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reportingWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
