As the Senior Manager, Internal Audit you will be responsible for conducting audits that evaluate the established internal controls designed to manage the company's most significant risks.
You will assist the Director, IT audit in planning of individual audits, developing test steps to evaluate controls, and gathering/analyzing information as necessary to evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of the controls.
This role will also lead a team of external co-source resources to execute audits.
Additionally, he/she will be required to execute the SOC1 reporting program for key clients including the building of strong relationships with GXO site/client management.
Finally, this role will also be expected to test SOX controls and lead the global SOX ITGC efforts in the future.

What you'll do on a typical day:
Day to day management of multiple audit/SOC1 projects to ensure they are conducted in accordance with the audit methodology and that milestone dates are met, and projects are completed on time for assigned projects and staffServe as the in-charge role that will involve directing other senior or staff auditors in the performance of their responsibilitiesPerform preliminary audit plan, which includes documenting processes via process maps and flowchartsPrepare draft process level risk assessments to identify significant risks and their related controlsDirect the other senior and staff auditors in the execution of audit test steps and the documentation of the related workpapers to support conclusions reached Identify key control points within a process/activity and develop audit test steps and the documentation of the related workpapers to support conclusions reached Identify and document weakness in control design and effectiveness based on analysis performed and write formal draft audit reportsAssist in leading the SOX testing program through improvement and standardization of all components of internal control testing Supervise the follow-up on audit reports to determine if required action was taken, document and communicate the results of the reviewWhat you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work or military experience 7
years of audit (internal/external) experience or relevant business experienceCPA, CIA, or CISAExperience in conducting audit projects as well as SOX testing Experience in identifying risks/controls, performing process walkthroughs, testing for key controls, and monitoring effectiveness and reporting resultsAbility to work and adapt in fast-paced environment Enter years/industry experienceEnter required experience/skillsIt'd be great if you also have:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
