Registered Nurse - Bi-Lingual (part time)

Make a difference! Family Centers seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (Spanish speaking) to assist in providing comprehensive primary medical care to youth in an outpatient pediatric clinic.
This position is located within a youth residential facility.

The RoleThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting the Medical Provider with intake assessments of residents, diagnosis and treatment of common and chronic illnesses, referrals, vaccines, screenings, promoting optimal health and preventative care.
The Registered Nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary program team members, be responsible for the medication management and medical case management of the residents.
The schedule is a flexible one that will require occasional evenings and weekend hours for approximately 25-28 hours / week.
Education And Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program Current active Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Connecticut Minimum of 1
years post graduate related experience and/or training Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control, certified a plus Excellent customer service/ communication skills Demonstrated aptitude in providing nursing services to under-served populations, including pediatrics.
