As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you are a meticulous problem solver who likes to understand a business problem, analyze the technology behind it, identify all the break-points, and help develop solutions. You are passionate about the technology that supports the business. You will:
Ensure that each software enhancement deployed achieves its specific purpose/benefit and does not degrade any other feature or performance.
Partner closely with business analysts, project management, and our application support team to design and test new applications, build tools and automation, and enhance the overall reliability and performance of the software test infrastructure.
Analyze, validate, and test software development projects by writing test plans and test cases, performing ad hoc, manual, and automated testing.
Help design and build intelligent systems that can explore a wide range of integration testing scenarios.
Ensure that each software release deployed meets defined quality standards
Partner closely with others in CS Tech to design and test new applications, build tools and automation, and enhance the overall reliability and performance of the software test infrastructure

Position Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance
Solid SQL Experience
Creativity, original thought and not constrained by the status quo
Character ? credits contributors and acknowledges and corrects mistakes
Common sense ? practice problem decomposition and problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Automation and/or performance test experience is beneficial


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
