Position
Summary:
Technical Service Team is seeking a Senior System Center Engineer for the Plan/Build Organization of the Critical Infrastructure team to design, develop and test the implementation of the most recent versions of System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager. The role will report directly to the project lead responsible for the Critical Infrastructure Services Teams successful delivery of services in support of the next generation Microsoft Server Operating System Project, and ensuring Desktop requirements are considered in the designed solution.
Responsibilities would include:
Develop design and implementation of the SCCM/SCOM platform to meet specific IT Next Generation Server and Desktop requirements (e.g., provisioning, patching, monitoring, software deployment)
Develop security and technical design artifacts for production implementation
Define and assist in documenting system integration requirements for the current Bridgewater Manager of Managers Monitoring Solutions, including migration techniques from SCOM 2007 to 2012
Prepare and conduct Unit, Integration, QA, and UAT testing for the technical implementation
Develop, Implement daily support tasks to ensure system health
Creation of Operational Run book
Knowledge xfer to Support team
Position Requirements:
Microsoft System Center Platforms, SCCM/SCOM 2012
MS SQL Server 2008 or above, including SQL reporting services
Database Query Lang.: SQL, T-SQL
Web Server: IIS
Operating System: Windows 2008/2012 Server
Scripting Languages (One or more): Powershell, Vbscript, Javascript, Perl, Python
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Preferred Candidates would also meet the following criteria:
CA Technologies: CA IT Monitoring Solutions, e.g. Spectrum and Ehealth
Programming Languages: C, C++, VB.NET, Visual Basic 6, Web Services, XML, SOAP JSP, Servlet
Experience deploying highly available solutions, and performing implementation and design of SCCC/SCOM 2012 in major financial/high security environment
Integration with Enterprise Systems Management Technologies, e.g. CA Technologies listed above.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
