Summary:
This requires architecting, testing, tuning, and documenting enterprise class solutions for the Microsoft Windows server platform, Active Directory, and Server Infrastructure to enable business goals. The candidate must have hands-on experience in streamlining and automating both existing and new designs to lower operational cost and increase security. While not responsible for implementation, as a subject matter expert in Microsoft and Server technology, the IT Senior Windows/Server Engineer should be able to act as L3 support and assist in resolving critical issues.

Responsibilities would include:
Engineering the standard operating environment (SOE) for the next generation of Microsoft Windows server infrastructure
Developing automation solutions to reduce or eliminate administrator ?touch time? and allow for greater scale of operations
Diagnosing, resolving, and communicating advanced problems escalated from L2 support
Partnering with internal clients and technology leaders to shape the team?s technical vision to maximum benefit for the organization

Position Requirements:
Must have a passion for technology and problem solving as well as a strong security mindset
At least 10 years of experience in technology, with at least five years of experience engineering enterprise class initiatives
Deep knowledge and broad experience with the Microsoft Windows Server operating system and Active Directory (2003 to present)
Experience engineering enterprise class server infrastructure technology, preferably Cisco UCS
Experience designing and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across multiple datacenters
Solid understanding of storage, network, and virtual infrastructure technologies
Strong scripting skills are required, preferably PowerShell or Python
Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills including experience writing technical documentation

Preferred candidates would also meet the following criteria:
A working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
Certifications in Microsoft and other mentioned technologies are a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
