SQL Server Reports Developer

Established and growing organization in the Lower Fairfield County area searching for an experienced reports developer with strong SSIS experience to join their team on a 3 month + contract basis.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing reports using SSRS 2008-R2.

Ability to perform report design, development and delivery based on user feedback, functional and technical requirements.

The role requires the candidate to understand complex, large scale data models for an enterprise system (Normalized / De-Normalized) and the underlying business processes and produce reports in various formats.

The candidate will be working in a customer facing role in order to develop and produce reports that meet customer's needs by providing timely information that enables them to make various program and policy-related decisions.

Ability to express business and technical concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to gather reporting requirements from a diverse group of users.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
3+ year's prior experience in SQL Server including working with stored procedures, indexes and views.
3+ years Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Database Engine, SSRS-2008 and SSIS-2008
Ability to create ETL packages to Extract, Transform and Load Data using SSIS-2008 is a plus
Must be a methodical and pragmatic problem-solver
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
