We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and experienced associate to be a part of our team in providing custom lighting and furniture to an array of clients, including interior designers, and architects. The position will be located in the lower Fairfield County area, with a respected company with a national reputation in the industry for the last 20 years.
Responsibilities consist primarily of the following:
Ability to relate our brand story, listen effectively and assist our clients with customized products for their home and design preferences.
Develop, establish and maintain a high-level, service driven approach and positive client experience.
Stellar communication skills and ability to engage clients in a relaxed yet focused manner.
Stay current on product offering and have the ability to discuss our brand and products.
Sales experience in a high end luxury brand environment.
Lighting sales, interior design exposure or home furnishing sales experience is preferred.
Responsible for presentation and merchandising in the showroom to uphold brand standard.
Perform inventory activities, such as product pricing, inventory inspection and shipments to clients.
Required Skills:
o Previous sales experience in a high end luxury brand environment
o Service driven approach with exceptional attention to detail
o Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
o Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to listen and assess client needs
This is a full-time, salaried position with opportunity for career growth. We are looking for a team member that is dependable and a self-motivator. Experience in lighting, interior design environment and/or home furnishings sales would be a good fit for this position. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
